There was a time when humanity recognized itself as part of Nature, and Nature as part of itself. Dreaming and waking were inseparable realities; the natural and supernatural merged and blended.In the past shamans,priests,and priestesses were the keepers of the sacred knowledge of life.They were tied to the rhythms and forces of Nature.They were capable of walking the threads that link the invisible and visible worlds. They helped people remember that all trees are divine and that all animals speak to those who listen. The early priest/ess-magician would adopt the guise of animals-wearing skins and masks-to symbolize a reawakening and endowing of oneself with specific energies. They performed rituals in accordance with the natural rhythms of the seasons to awaken greater fertility and life. To them, species and every aspect of ite enviornment had the power to remind themof what they could manifest within their own life. It was an aid to bridge the enviorns of their own lives. THE TRUE SHAMAN, THE TRUE NATURALISTS, work to reconnect conscious human life with Nature and spirit through totems and ritual. The images of the animals and the expressions of Nature help us to transend our normal,waking consciousness so that we can more easily attune to ethereal realms and beings.The first step begins with realizing that all vision and imagery,originating in Nature or the inner mind, has validity on some level. HUMANITY has lost that instinctive tie to the rhythms and patterns of Nature, and with that loss has come a loss of the reality of magic. Nature tries to show us everyday that all forms of life can teach us. As we learn to listen to Nature,we break down our outworn perceptions. We find that magical creation is the force of life inherent in all things. And it is this, above all else, that Nature teaches to those who will learn from her. "THE CIRCLE OF LIFE" MAN HAS A POOR UNDERSTANDING OF LIFE. HE MISTAKES KNOWLEDGE FOR WISDOM, HE TRIES TO UNVEIL THE HOLY SECRETS OF OUR FATHER; THE GREAT SPIRIT, HE ATTEMPTS TO IMPOSE HIS LAWS AND WAYS ON MOTHER EARTH. EVEN THOUGH HE, HIMSELF, IS PART OF NATURE. HE CHOOSES TO DISREGUARD AND IGNORE IT FOR THE SAKE OF HIS OWN IMIDIATE GAIN. BUT THE LAWS OF NATURE ARE MUCH STRONGER THAN THOSE OF MANKIND. MAN MUST AWAKE AT LAST, AND LEARN TO UNDESTAND HOW LITTLE TIME REMAINS BEFORE HE WILL BECOME THE CAUSE OF HIS OWN DOWNFALL. AND HE HAS SO MUCH TO LEARN. TO LEARN TO SEE WITH HIS HEART, HE MUST LEARN TO RESPECT MOTHER EARTH. SHE WHO HAS GIVEN LIFE TO EVERYTHING; TO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE ANIMALS AND THE PLANTS; TO THE RIVER, THE LAKES, THE OCEANS, AND THE WINDS. HE MUST REALIZE THAT THIS PLANET DOES NOT BELONG TO HIM, BUT THAT HE HAS TO TAKE CARE FOR AND MAINTAIN THE DELICATE BALANCE OF NATURE, FOR THE SAKE OF THE WELL BEING OF OUR CHILDREN AND OF ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS. IT IS THE DUTY OF MAN TO PRESERVE THE EARTH AND THE CREATION OF THE GREAT SPIRIT. MANKIND BEING BUT A GRAIN OF SAND IN THE HOLY CIRCLE WHICH ENCLOSES ALL OF LIFE BY "WHITE CLOUD" | |||||||||||||||||||

I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND I AM ENROLLED INTO COLLEGE FOR JANUARY 2000. MY MAJOR IS PSYCHOLOGY AND MY MINOR IS ENGLISH LITERATURE. I HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS T.J. SHE'S THREE & K.C. SHE'S 11 MONTHS.
